But it's also a story about how a wellness powerhouse cracked the code on sleeping in a city that, until now, supposedly never slept - and how much people are willing to pay for the privilege. This is a review of a two-night stay at the flagship Equinox Hotel in New York City. The answer, it turns out, is unequivocally yes. I use my membership to take classes at 26 different locations around Manhattan and get access to premium bathrooms and lockers no matter where I am in the city. I've been a devout Equinox member since 2015. Amenities, including dry sauna, showers, shampoos, conditioners, body washes, deodorants, and body creams are all complimentary and produced by the hotel’s own line - luxurious and invigorating on all fronts! Jose’ in the service/bathroom area was marvelous, as were Jonathan and Melissa at the front desk. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating, and even helped me out when the Sunday Motorcycle Parade delayed my arrival time Sunday! They made adjustments for me so that I could get almost all of my infrared sauna time in before the next client arrived. I thought I had died and gone to Spa Heaven, honestly. ![]() I visited the Spa here twice, once on Friday and once on Sunday.
